Time really flies, man! I still remember posting pictures taken during my last birthday thanking every breathing soul who went. And now, here I am again….another birthday! Time really flies, I tell you. Anyway, this is what I notice every birthday.

Days preceding the birthday, whenever you go shopping, you’ll use the birthday as an excuse to give yourself a present. If you need to learn how to make excuses for senseless purchases, read below. The new blusher: It’s my birthday lah. I need to look nice.
The new blouse: It’s my present for myself
The IKEA lights for the bathroom: I want a new start with my birthday and I’ll start with the bathroom
The new PC mouse: It’s my birthday and I want to make work easy for myself
The aromatherapy set: I need to pamper myself during my birthday
The new song book: I want to learn how to play a new song to please myself during my birthday
The new alarm clock: New birthday resolution revolution -  wake up on time!
The laundry basket: I don’t want clothes cluttering the house during my birthday
The extra 3 bottles of wine: I want to celebrate my birthday
The new CD: I need to lighten up my mood during my birthday

See? Endless excuses can be made for buying senseless things when one’s birthday is approaching. Is yours approaching….try it….it bloody works, man!

30th July 2007 Update: JJ’s new son really know how to choose the right time to arrive into this world, man. JJ is Hitz.fm morning crew fler always laugh like hyena wan leh? Neways, his son chose to be born on the greatest day on the planet….my birthday!! Wahlau-eh, I better go warn the new father….his son got potential become wild child.
