Ah Kiu kena pix

Who doesn’t know who Twins are, raise your hands?

I think most of us must have heard their names somewhere somehow. Anyway, Twins (Gillian Chung and Charlene Choi) is a singing and dancing duo who is worth nothing more than pretty faces (to me, anyway). But that’s the way things work in HK. No talent, never mind. Sing out of tune, never mind. Cannot dance, ALSO never mind. But wanna be singer or not?

Twins were wildly criticized for their total lack of singing ability. It would have been better if ONE of them could sing but the fact remains that BOTH CANNOT. Dance…ok-lah. Nothing spectacular.

So, I am no fan of theirs.

That’s Twin’s Ah Kiu (as in Ah-Gil for Gillian)
However, it would pain me to see my daughter being treated this way.

Recently, Twins had a concert here in Genting Highlands…I don’t know when cause I didn’t even bother with them. But accordingly, poor Gillian Chung had her photo (or film, don’t know which) taken while changing.

It’s outrageous! What kind of a sicko is that? I mean, all I can do is to imagine myself in her position and I wanna kill somebody…preferably the person who had the sick mind to take my picture while I am changing!!

Stars are stars…they are there to entertain us common folks. They are there are people to idolize and fans of theirs are always hungry for their information…the more private, the better. But in comes the reporters. The hunting dogs with a snarl on their face and camera in hand.

The relationship between a fan and an idol is actually a very sacred one. One is willing to sacrifice his or her own privacy to meet with the demands of their fans. The other is willing to part with his or her money to get anything they that the star is willing to provide. Along the way, the relationship becomes a very private one that is also like telepathy. It’s like communicating with each other, knowing each other reall well and giving-taking between each other.

The reporters will find it very easy to exploit that. I mean, it’s just wwwaaayyyy too easy to exploit that.

In a way, I am so ashamed of the fact that the incident took place here in Malaysia. It’s an inside job…so, some sick Malaysian jacka** must have taken the picture/film.

All I am thinking about now is…Gosh…that poor girl! I don’t know how bad it is because I can’t find the info. But it must have been bad because during a press conference, she broke down and cried. What she said, I also don’t know! Ha ha ha ha…But read on by following the link below. It’s in Chinese ah….that’s why I apa pun tak tau!!

so..in case anyone thinks it’s a bed of roses being so popular and well known all over the world…think again. It’s NOT!

Sure…you have tons of money…but to exchange your money for your privacy. Worth it?. I think not!

Remember the group ‘EUROPE”? You know…the amazing Swedish band with their giant hit ‘The Final Countdown? and ‘Carrie’?
They have a song called ‘Prisoners in Paradise’.

Talks about how their dream of being famous that became a reality actually made them more miserable than before. They cant go out without getting mobbed by scrreaming girls, paparazzis following them, relatives knocking on their doors asking for money, etc.

That’s why they are prisoners in what seemed to be paradise for some of us.
